This Privacy Policy explains how Impact Marketing KY, LLC ("I," "me," or "Impact Marketing KY"), a limited liability company owned and operated by Jeff Becraft in Winchester, Kentucky, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit impactmarketingky.com or contact me about marketing services.
I keep this short and plain because honesty about how data works is more useful than legal padding. If you have a question after reading, contact me directly using the information at the bottom.
1. Information I Collect
1.1 Information you provide to me directly
When you fill out a form, send an email, or call me, you may provide:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Email address
- Phone number
- The contents of your message or inquiry
- Information you choose to share about your business, marketing goals, or current setup
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit impactmarketingky.com, my analytics provider (Cloudflare Web Analytics) collects anonymized, aggregated information including:
- Pages visited and time on each page
- Referring website or search engine
- General geographic region (country, state)
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet) and browser
Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-respecting by design: it does not use cookies, does not track individual visitors across sessions, and does not collect IP addresses or other personally identifying information for analytics purposes.
1.3 Information I do NOT collect
- I do not use third-party advertising trackers (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, etc.) on this website.
- I do not buy or sell mailing lists or contact lists.
- I do not collect sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, government IDs, health information) through the website.
2. How I Use Your Information
I use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry or contact request
- Schedule and prepare for a free Blueprint Session if you've requested one
- Send proposals, contracts, and follow-up communication if you become a client
- Deliver the marketing services you've engaged me for
- Send service updates, monthly reports, and invoices once you're a client
- Improve the website and understand which content is useful (using the anonymized analytics above)
I do not send unsolicited marketing emails. If you've contacted me about services, I may follow up directly about that inquiry. I do not add you to a newsletter, sales drip campaign, or general mailing list without your specific consent.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
To run the business, I use a small number of trusted third-party tools that may receive some of your information. Each operates under their own privacy policy, which I encourage you to review:
- Cloudflare — provides website hosting, content delivery, and the privacy-respecting analytics described above. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Formspree — receives contact form submissions and forwards them to my email. Form data is encrypted in transit. Formspree Privacy Policy
- Stripe — processes payments if you become a paying client. Stripe stores payment card information directly; I never see or store your card details. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Google Workspace — used for business email (jbecraft@impactmarketingky.com). Google Privacy Policy
I do not share your information with any other parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This website uses minimal cookies:
- Essential cookies: Cloudflare may set a small number of cookies necessary for the site to function correctly and for security purposes (e.g., bot protection). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: None. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free by design.
- Marketing/advertising cookies: None.
If you prefer to refuse cookies entirely, you can configure your browser to do so. Note that essential cookies may impact site functionality if disabled.
5. Data Retention
I keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose collected:
- Inquiry messages with no follow-up: 12 months
- Blueprint Session notes for prospects who did not become clients: 12 months
- Active client records: for the duration of our engagement plus 7 years (for tax and business record requirements under Kentucky and federal law)
- Anonymized website analytics: indefinitely (no personal data attached)
You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Your Information Is Not Sold or Shared for Profit
I do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. The only third parties who receive your information are the service providers listed in Section 3, who use it solely to help me deliver the services you've engaged me for.
7. Your Rights
Regardless of which state you live in, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information I hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping requirements for active or recent clients)
- Opt out of any communications from me
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format
If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides additional specific rights. If you're an EU or UK resident, the GDPR provides additional specific rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact me using the information at the bottom of this page. I'll respond within 30 days.
8. Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information:
- Website traffic is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS) on every page
- Form submissions are encrypted in transit through Formspree
- Client account credentials are stored in a password manager (1Password) with two-factor authentication, never in plain text or email
- Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe; I never store or have access to credit card details
- Backups of client files are encrypted
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While I take reasonable steps to protect your information, I cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
This website and the services I offer are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact me and I will delete it promptly.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in practices, services, or legal requirements. When I update it, I'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For substantive changes (changes to how data is collected, used, or shared), I'll provide more prominent notice — either at the top of this page or via email to active clients.
